Uninsured drivers

Not insured. Not at fault. Not out of options.

Endeavour Recoveries3 minute readUpdated September 2026

A damaged car is enough to deal with. Discovering that you have no comprehensive cover can make the next step feel even harder. It is a reason to ask questions—not to assume the matter ends there.

Your insurance and the other driver’s responsibility are different questions.

Where another driver is responsible for damaging your vehicle, a claim against that party may be possible even without your own comprehensive policy. Responsibility, evidence and the losses claimed still need to be established. A NSW green slip covers personal injury, not vehicle repairs. Start with what you have.

Bring us the accident date, the registrations, the other driver’s details and any photographs or correspondence. A claim number is useful, but do not delay an enquiry simply because you are still gathering information. Tell us what is missing rather than guessing.

Let us help organise the next step.

We can review the information, explain the documents we need and discuss whether a recovery matter is suitable for Endeavour. Where accepted and authorised, we can assemble the supporting material and manage the recovery correspondence.

Before you commit, ask us to explain the scope, charges and any repair or hire agreement. We do not promise that every uninsured claim will succeed or that every expense will be paid by another party.

Your next stepHave a conversation before deciding you have no options. You do not need to arrive knowing all the claims terminology.
